Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Neuronest courses, reading groups, and related services. Reading through them before enrolling is encouraged.

neuronest.school Bangkok, Thailand Online Education
In [1]:

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all students, visitors, and users of Neuronest services, including online courses, reading groups, and the website at neuronest.cyou. By enrolling in any course or submitting a contact form, you accept these Terms in full.

1. Definitions

  • "Neuronest" refers to the online school operating under this name, based at 56 Sukhumvit Soi 21, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110.
  • "Student" refers to any individual who enrolls in a course or reading group offered by Neuronest.
  • "Course Materials" refers to written notes, exercise notebooks, reference solutions, code examples, and any other content provided as part of a course.
  • "Services" refers collectively to all courses, reading groups, forums, and communication channels operated by Neuronest.

2. Eligibility

Neuronest courses are designed for adult learners. To enroll, you must be at least 18 years of age. Some courses have recommended technical prerequisites — these are described on the course pages and are not enforced at enrollment, but students are encouraged to review them before starting.

Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to the technical environment required for their chosen course (internet connection, a working Python installation, and shell access where noted).

3. Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed once Neuronest receives full payment and sends a confirmation message to the email address provided. Enrollment in a course is personal and non-transferable — access cannot be shared with another individual.

Start dates and cohort schedules are communicated at the time of enrollment. Neuronest reserves the right to adjust cohort dates by up to two weeks with reasonable advance notice.

Neuronest does not issue accredited degrees, diplomas, or formal qualifications. Completion acknowledgements may be provided where applicable, but these do not carry institutional accreditation.

4. Payment and Refunds

All prices are listed in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is due in full before course access is provided.

Neuronest does not offer automatic or unconditional refunds. Refund requests submitted within 7 days of enrollment and before any course materials have been accessed will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests submitted after 7 days or after materials have been accessed will generally not be approved, except in exceptional circumstances at Neuronest's discretion.

For the Reading Group on Machine Learning Papers, the annual subscription is non-refundable after the first reading session has been attended.

5. Course Access

Access to course materials is provided for the duration of the relevant course period. For multi-week courses, this means access is available throughout the course weeks and for a reasonable period after the final session. Neuronest aims to keep materials available for at least 60 days after course completion, though this is not a contractual obligation.

Course materials are for the personal use of enrolled students only. Sharing login credentials or distributing materials to third parties is not permitted.

Neuronest is not responsible for technical issues arising from the student's own hardware, network, or software environment.

6. Student Conduct

Students are expected to engage with course content and forums in a respectful manner. Neuronest may remove students from forums or terminate access if their conduct is disruptive, abusive, or harmful to other participants.

Discussion forums and reading group threads are for educational exchange. Students should not use these channels for commercial promotion or off-topic content.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, exercises, notes, and code examples are the intellectual property of Neuronest. Students are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use these materials for their own learning purposes during and after the course period.

Reproducing, selling, or distributing course materials without written permission from Neuronest is not permitted.

Student-authored work (such as exercises or personal projects) remains the property of the student.

8. Limitation of Liability

Neuronest provides educational materials and discussion facilitation. We do not warrant that completing a course will result in employment, specific technical outcomes, or any particular level of professional skill.

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Neuronest's liability for any claim arising from the use of our services is limited to the amount paid by the student for the relevant course or subscription.

Neuronest is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

9. Termination of Access

Neuronest may suspend or terminate a student's access to services if the student breaches these Terms, engages in misconduct, or if payment obligations are not met.

Students may discontinue participation at any time, subject to the refund conditions described in Section 4.

10. Changes to These Terms

Neuronest may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled students by email or via course communication channels at least 14 days before they take effect.

Continued use of services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from the use of Neuronest services will be subject to the jurisdiction of Thai courts.
